Since the 1960s, Cummings & Duda, Ltd. (formerly Walter D. Cummings Ltd.) has provided experienced representation to the people of Homewood, Illinois and the surrounding areas. Originally founded by attorney Christopher J. Cummings' father, the firm was officially incorporated in 1977.

With deep ties to the community, our firm is dedicated to building and sustaining long-term relationships with our clients. Attorney Christopher J. Cummings knows the law can be confusing and complicated, and Chris works hard to ensure his clients understand each step of the process and feel confident that their legal matters are being handled with care.

Though we focus on assisting clients with estate planning, probate and elder law issues, our firm also provides counsel and representation to clients interested in establishing a business or selling/purchasing a home or commercial property. Additionally, attorney Christopher J. Cummings has extensive experience in matters of municipal law and currently serves as Village Attorney for Homewood.
